Step 1 draw your hand from observation and pictures

And basic shapes

Step 2 : drawing fabric folds from observation

Step 3 still life drawing

Step 4 colour studies of a trees, waves, and clouds as an imitation from artists

waves and hills and rocks also grass are great topics to start with.

Such topics like hands from observation, trees , clouds and waves are simple topics to start with as an imitation like pencil maestro for they are simple follow with.

Proceeding in my imitation , I started with landscape and animals imitation from free udemy

Courses and pictures, and videos.

Step5 See cartoon illustrations and study them from udemy ,allison and any other online resources.

Step6 is from my imagination and my own objects and pictures . When you practise more and read, your imagination runs wild.

These are the first steps of a beginner that pushed me into the next level. Imitation and observation of collected objects like a shell to observe or take a picture of me sitting on the floor and observed some reflection pictures. Hopefully these steps will benefit you as they to me .

As a tip divide your copybook into composition, value and colour theory, perspective, anatomy and facial proportions collecting information from different online resources, books, articles and YouTube. This approach helped me develop my artistic knowledge including udemy and allison courses.
